Abstract:

This study presents road construction and verification system (RCVS). This system works to create a road on the digital map by relying on the GPS. This system makes a comparison between what is in the databases and what is in reality and establishment of the non-existent within the databases, in what is known as the Internet of things. This system consists of three parts, GPS part that use to gather information about the roads, spatial data base part that use to store every information that was gathered by GPS part and the Analysis model part that use to make a comparison and verifications between the roads into the data base and the roads in the reality, and make right decision by using internet of things. In this study, the application was carried out on a part of the Nozha department in Cairo Governorate, Egypt.
