- Abstract:
- Nowadays, the expansion of the internet and the widespread use of computer systems have resulted in massive electronic data transformations that have created a slew of issues with data security, privacy, and confidentiality. The Internet of Things (IoT) is an intelligent network that connects all devices to the internet to exchange data via agreed-upon protocols. One of the key challenges in network communications is network intrusion. because of increased Threat attacks. Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) has always been a critical tool for network and information system safety. These technologies are designed to detect attacks and harmful activity in a network environment. in this paper; we present a survey of IDS in IoT. We categorized the IDSs proposed in the literature by IDS approaches, Type of attack, Detection Performance, dataset, and Machine learning techniques. Our goal is to identify emerging trends, unresolved issues, and potential research directions.
