- Abstract:
- The longitudinal grip of the tire determines the driving and braking performance of the vehicle, and the tread stiffness directly affects the grip performance of the tire. In this paper, taking 205/55R16 radial tire as an example, Hypermesh and Abaqus are used to build the model, and the correctness of the model is verified by ground pressure test. Taking a single pattern block as the research object, the friction force in the driving direction is selected as the evaluation index of the longitudinal grip performance, and the influence of pattern structure parameters on the grip performance is analyzed through orthogonal experiments. Based on the analysis results of block stiffness, the overall grounding area of the tire is analyzed to verify the correctness of the orthogonal test conclusion. The results show that the lateral groove angle of the block has the greatest influence on the longitudinal grip performance and stiffness of the tire, followed by the lateral groove angle and the lateral groove depth. As the angle of the lateral wall of the transverse groove of the block decreases, the rigidity of the block decreases and the grip of the tire increases. The research conclusion can provide a reference for the design of improving tire grip performance.
